While I agree with your stance on transgenderism. I disagree with the link to homosexuality. I still believe that homosexuality is a sin, even though I believe I can have a sin-free relationship with my wife as a woman. The distinction is subtle, but without it transgenderism becomes immoral under LDS doctrine. That said, I think that all should be treated with respect and judgement should be reserved for the Lord.
I respect your views. Although, I personally don't see a difference between a cis gay couple and a couple consisting of a cis woman and a trans woman. Unless you're talking about the trans woman being pre-op, then I agree that from the church's perspective, they do see a difference. Whether or not they should differentiate the two circumstances could be debatable.
